Do You Know These BlackJack Rules?

Contrary to what one can see believing here or there. To play Black-jack, you do not need to master the rules, whether it is to play in an online casino, offline or a place more informal and obscure.

Each casino organizes its tables and its rules as it sees fit (even with free bet offers), your ingenuity will be appreciated between greedy faces. You will create a peaceful and attractive game world, and you may even be offered a drink.

Principles of Blackjack

The dealer (dealer in casinos) first distributes two cards to each player. Unlike other card games (poker, belotte, bridge), Blackjack players do not play against each other but oppose the bank, that is to say, the organizing house of parties, represented by the dealer in casinos.

The blackjack player aims to obtain a total of points higher than that of the dealer, without exceeding the limit of 21, in which case his hand “jumps” or “burns”: the player loses his stake.

The values of the cards are equivalent to their numbers. An exception and not the least: The Ace. When an Ace comes out, its holder has the choice between two values: 1 or 11. The figures (which do not include numbers) all have the same value: 10.

In short:

From 2 to 10, the cards have their face value: 2 for card 2, 3 for card 3, and 10 for card 10.

Jack, Lady, King are worth 10.

As is worth 11 or 1, at the choice of its holder.

For examples, during a game:

2 – As = 3 “points” or 13 “points”

6 – 3 – Lady = 19 “points”

Ace – 10 = 21 “points”

Blackjack is made of an Ace and a figure, that is 21.

We can make 21 with other combinations: Ace – 10, with three or more cards, for example, 2 – 5 – 8 – 6. If these combinations are worth 21, they are not, however, “Black-jack”.

This is not only a question of words because the Black-jack is above 21. For example, if the bank makes 21 and that a player makes at the same time Black-jack, it is the player who wins. If, on the other hand, the two make 21, the player only keeps his bet.
